At sunset on the 30th… Venus, Jupiter and Mercury line up more accurately and symetrically in the “dance of the planets” with Venus in the middle and Jupiter dropping closer towards the Sun.

Jupiter, Venus and Mercury Conjunction, almost a straight line 30th May 2013
At sunset on the 30th…….. Jupiter has continued to drop lower and now the three planets Jupiter, Venus and Mercury appear in an almost straight. Jupiter is lowest, Mercury highest and Venus in the middle.

The tight clustering of the 26th is a thing of the past as the dance of the planets continues. Jupiter drops level with Venus and Mercury departs to the right.
Venus, Jupiter and Mercury Conjunction 27th May 2013
I managed to get a couple of nice photos, not of their closest clustering but with clouds at sunset.
Venus is the brightest with Jupiter second and Mercury the faintest at the bottom right.
Triple Conjunction May 2013
Jupiter, Venus and Mercury looking good at dusk in the western sky on the 26th. Venus and Jupiter will be even closer by Tuesday evening the 28th.
Ten minutes later and a little darker.
